It has been a while

It has been a while since I last posted on the blog.  The reason being we have been very very busy with new clients, larger surveys for car park and barrier systems and most recently interviews for a new office administrator.

We posted an advert on Indeed for an office administrator and have been blown away by the response.   I have sifted through 76 CV’s over the last week and shortlisted some great candidates for interview.  That in its self was quite a task and was not quite prepared for the standard of people coming through the door for interview.  So we booked two days out to interview the best 10 candidates.

The Interviews

Day one and the 1st interview was a good  one, the MD and I thought it would take a lot to top that.  Then each candidate got better and better that by the end of the day we thought day 2 just can’t beat this.  How wrong were we!

Interview 1 on day two was a very strong start, beating the previous day.  This set the tone for the whole day.  By the end of day 2 we had a really hard decision to make.  We had gone from 76 CV’s to 3 candidates and really stuck on whom is the best fit for RJS.  So we made follow up calls to each three to consolidate and finally made our decision.

We are at a time of change here at RJS and I am excited to be driving the business forward into some exciting times with the support of TWO fantastic new starters, providing HD Digital CCTV, Access Control, Barriers and Car Park Systems.

As I say we have been blown away by the response to our job advert.  If you are a business in the bay looking for new staff, the bay has some great talent!  I am impressed!
